On September 7th, Zhoushan Ma'ao Maritime Department cooperated with Century Pacific
Chemical Terminal, Zhoushan Changhong International Ship Recycling Co., Ltd., Golden
Ocean Ship Washing Company, China Shipping Ship Washing Company and Xinglongzhou
Shipping Group Co., Ltd to carry out maritime oil spill emergency drill to strengthen the
organization, coordination, and handling capabilities of maritime oil spill pollution incidents
in the Ma'ao Port Area of Zhoushan on the basis of the previous tabletop exercises. It
was used oil booms, oil absorbent pads,oil skimmers,and other equipment for this oil
spill cleaning and recovery.
