In order to further enhance the maritime oil spill emergency response capabilities of Panjin's jurisdiction
and improve the coordination and command level of maritime oil spill , Panjin Maritime Safety
Administration has recently organized and carried out maritime oil spill emergency response training.
The training invited Wang Yunlong, head of the Liaohe Rescue Station of China Maritime Emergency
Response Center to give lectures. In the theoretical training, based on his rich professional knowledge
of maritime oil spill handling and more than ten years of work accumulation, Mr. Wang gave a
detailed explanation on the source, monitoring, emergency command, disposal, and precautions
of maritime oil spills, and he focused on the experience and practices of oil spill disposal in ice areas.
During the on-site visit, Mr. Wang compared the list of emergency equipment warehouses and
introduced the applications and use of all-round mobile lighting towers, large vacuum skimmers,
self-propelled skimmers, amphibious skimmers and other cutting-edge facilities and equipment. .
This training has enhanced law enforcement personnel's understanding of maritime oil spill emergency
response work, broadened their horizons, and improved the level of operational capabilities of law
enforcement personnel. In the next step, Panjin Maritime Safety Administration will combine the training
contents to further strengthen the construction of oil spill response teams in the jurisdiction, continuously
improve the oil spill emergency response level of law enforcement personnel, and ensure a clean marine
environment in the jurisdiction.
