In order to further improve the level of fishery safety management, promote the safety awareness 

of fishery employees, and ensure the orderly development of fishery safety production. On July 30, 

Shaoguan Qujiang Maritime Safety Administration, Qujiang Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, 

and Qujiang Baitu Town jointly held a fishing vessel safety production emergency drill and a 

fishing vessel crew safety production training event. This event attracted a total of 90 fishing 

vessels in the region. A total of more than 180 ship and fishery practitioners participated in 

the event.

The water safety emergency drill is divided into three subjects: "Ship Fire Disposal Emergency Drill", 

"Personnel Overwater Emergency Rescue Drill", and "Oil Spill Emergency Response Drill". The drill 

was simulated a ship's engine room fire then used fire extinguishers for fire, a crew was falling 

into the water then they rescued him, and fuel leakage during installation operations and then 

used oil booms and oil absorbent pads for oil spill controlling and cleaning. Through the emergency

information report, emergency plan activation, on-site rescue organization, follow-up processing, 

summary comments and other processes, the drill task was completed.
