The launching ceremony of Jiangmen 2021 National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day and the 

2021 Jiangmen comprehensive disaster reduction  emergency rescue drill will be held at the Jiangmen 

High-tech Port Terminal. Deputy Mayor Cai Dewei attended the event.

Cai Dewei awarded the flag to 23 municipal-level professional rescue teams formed by relevant 

functional departments of our city or based on enterprises and social forces, and awarded plaques

to 7 communities in our city that won the title of 2020 national comprehensive disaster reduction 

demonstration communities. The drill was successively carried out the rescue of overboarding crew, 

dike protection against collision, ship oil spill handling by using oil booms and oil absorbent pads, 

tank truck leakage rescue and other projects. More than 300 people participated and 20 units  

at the city and district levels participated in this drill.
