Recently, the Chuanshan District Transportation Bureau, the Chuanshan Brigade of the Municipal
Transportation Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Detachment, the Chuanshan
District Maritime Affairs Department, and the Sand and Gravel Platform Company have
respectively sent personnel to form a joint ship anti-pollution supervision team to carry
out special operations for ship pollution prevention supervision and inspection.
In this operations, 1 sea cruiser and 2 working vehicles were dispatched. The supervision team
inspected a total of 41 ships of the Fuxin Tongchuang and Wanshun Huayuan sand and
gravel complex (including 15 quarrying ships and 26 motorized cargo ships), and focused on-site
inspections of the company's emergency plan for preventing oil pollution, the agreement on
slop oil recovery and transfer, the storage of terminal recovery equipment,oil booms and
oil absorbent pads. The supervision team also checked the equipment and operation status
of anti-oil pollution equipment on board the ship, the implementation of anti-oil pollution
measures on various decks, the removal of additional fuel tanks, the equipment and use of
oil absorbent pads on board, and the cleaning of oil pollution in machinery spaces.
