The dredging project of the Zhijiang section of the Yangtze River was started. The dredging 

of the main channel of the Yangtze River is a necessary measure to further promote the 

development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and it is also an urgent need to effectively 

solve the "medium obstruction" problem of the Yangtze River Golden Waterway. The 

construction of this project mainly uses grab ships to continuously transport the silt and 

silt at the bottom of the Yangtze River.It was also used silt curtains for controlling the 

silt area first. The entire project construction period is expected to be three months, 

and the 700,000 tons of silt, pebbles and stones salvaged and cleaned up will be 

delivered to important project sites under construction in Zhijiang City at a price 

below the market.
