broke the tranquility of the duty room of the Ninghai Maritime Department of the Ningbo Maritime
Safety Administration. After receiving the police, the Ninghai Maritime Department quickly activated
the "Xiangshan Port Oil Spill Emergency Plan." and then they immediately instructed the ship to
stop the leak, transfer the fuel in the cabin, prepare fire extinguishers, and coordinate the
professional cleaning auxiliary ship to confine and control the accident ship to prevent oil spillage.
At the same time, the wharf cleaning volunteers responded quickly after receiving the news,
and immediately called in oil absorbent pads, oil booms,oil skimmers and other oil spill emergency
equipment, and cooperated with professional cleaning staffs to recover the oil spilled on
the sea. With the joint efforts of all the oil spill response personnel, the ship's oil spill was
effectively controlled and the danger was relieved.
