On September 11, multiple departments of Dianjiang County jointly carried out the 2020 road 

traffic accident secondary hazardous chemical leakage and sudden environmental pollution 

accident joint emergency rescue drill.

At 9:00, the drill was officially begun. The drill was  simulated when a transport truck from 

Heye Company was carrying in the process of transporting carbon disulfide(produced by 

Chongqing Xingfa Golden Crown Chemical Co., Ltd.),tt was rear-ended by a four-axle freight

vehicle, then it caused the weld on the lower part of the tank body to rupture. The accident 

caused carbon disulfide leakage. The cab of the axle truck was deformed and the driver 

was injured and trapped. Upon receipt of the police instructions, the command center immediately activated the emergency response linkage mechanism. Rescuers from the 

county emergency bureau, county public security bureau, county transportation bureau, 

county fire rescue brigade, county ecological environment bureau, county health and 

health commission and other relevant departments quickly assembled and arrived at 

the accident site in the shortest time, and carried out emergency rescue work such 

as traffic control, on-site maintenance, handling of dangerous situations, evacuation 

of the masses,rescue of the wounded, environmental monitoring, dilution of toxic gases

(by using diluent and then using chemical absorbent socks and chemical absorbent pads), 

accident investigation, road clearance, and traffic restoration in an orderly manner. 

After 1 hour of intensive and orderly linkage, the site was cleaned up. The command 

center issued a deregulation instruction, the site was restored to flow, and the entire 

emergency drill was successfully completed.
