On the morning of September 7, the launching ceremony of the Jiangmen City 

Coastal Sea Pollution Prevention and Control Joint Drill was held on the bank 

of the Xinhui tanjiang River. According to the plan, the 2020 joint action on 

pollution prevention and control actionsin the coastal waters of Jiangmen 

City will continue until the end of the year. Relevant departments will work 

together to strengthen law enforcement and supervision of marine dumping, 

sea sand mining, channel dredging(by using dredgers and silt curtains), and 

marine engineering construction; they will strengthen the supervision of 

sewage outlets into the sea,strengthen the investigation and handling 

of land-source pollution and coastal engineering pollution damage cases, 

and they severely crack down on illegal and criminal activities that pollute 

the marine ecological environment.
