The reporter was learned from the Urban Construction Center that Xingfu river dredging and green project 

was passed acceptance. 

The project is started from Weiyi Road in the south and went to Xinjian River in the north with a total length of 

1,730 meters. Before the remediation, the wide of the Xingfu River was about 8 to 20 meters, and the section was 

narrow, and the ridge was a natural revetment and weeds. Both sides of the river are basically farmland, farmhouses

 and factories, which leads to serious pollution of the water body and the destruction of vegetation on both banks.

In the process of dredging, the urban construction center of the development zone changed the original natural slope

 protection of the river course into a secondary retaining wall of mortar block stone and planted aquatic plants between

 the upper retaining wall and the lower retaining wall. It was also used silt curtains for controlling sludge. After regulation,

 the river channel has been widened to 30 meters. It was also added control gates, cross River Bridge, rainwater outlets, 

inverted siphon pipes, and green and hydrophilic platforms on both sides of the river.
