On April 12, on the inspection and acceptance of the dredging and maintenance project

of the Xiaomitan River waterway organized by the Yangtze River Waterway Regulation

Center, the project passed the acceptance inspection. The meeting was invited Liu Wangxi, 

deputy director of the Yangtze River Waterway Regulation Center, and Chang Yanhang, 

director of the Changhang Shipping Development Research Center, and Yang Pinfu, deputy

director of the Changzhou Yanzhou Waterway Bureau to participate.

On this morning, the acceptance group carried out onsite inspection of the Xiaomitan site and

checked the navigability of the waterway after dredging. In the afternoon, at the inspection 

and acceptance meeting, the construction unit, design unit, and supervision unit reported the

entire process project management, implementation, experience and suggestions to the a

cceptance team through ppt. In response to the problems which encountered in the

implementation of this project, such as long construction permit period and short daily

construction time, the construction unit reported to the leaders of the meeting. They hoped

that the construction unit can further strengthen coordination with related departments for

maintenance in order to crate a good external environment for dredging. The meeting

unanimously passed the inspection and acceptance of the maintenance dredging project of 

the the Xiaomitan River waterway.

It is reported that the maintenance dredging project of t the Xiaomitan River waterway is one 

of the two unit projects of the YibinChongqing Waterway maintenance dredging project of the 

Yangtze River trunk line. It was firstly used silt curtains for controlling silt. After that, they will

used 17 dredging fleet to complete the maintenance dredging project, then it will arrive at the in 

Fangshan Town, Luzhou City, and it was overhauled to prepare for the maintenance waterway

dredging.
