On March 24, the dredging site of Limin River in Sihong County was booming, and more than 

20 excavators were working intensively to clear the river silt and widen the river.Before the 

working of excavotors, it was deployed silt curtains for controlling the silt. Limin River is an 

important flood and irrigation channel in Sihong County. Due to the lack of dredging for 

many years, the siltation is serious and the drainage and drainage are not smooth.

The rural river channel dredging project implemented by the Sihong County Water 

Conservancy Bureau has harnessed more than 20 county and township river channels, 

including the Limin River. Through dredging, the rivers are cleared, and the water 

system is cleared. While we improve the capacity of flood discharge, drainage and 

irrigation, combined with afforestation, the river ecological environment is also improved.

Spring is a great period for water conservancy construction. The Sihong Water 

Conservancy Bureau seizes the current fine and good weather, accelerates the 

implementation of water safety protection, water resources protection, water 

environment governance, and water ecological restoration projects, and improves
