On the morning of January 7, Hainan Hebao Shipping Co., Ltd. carried out ship firefighting 

and oil spill emergency drill at the Baimajing Anchorage.

The drill was divided into two parts: during the oil transfer operations, a fire accident caused 

by an overload of the power distribution board of the ship's generator and a burst of the 

oil pipeline of the ship caused oil spills. After the accident, the relevant units quickly launched 

an emergency plan. Through the police report,fire extinguishing , timely containment by 

deploying oil booms, oil spill cleaning by using oil absorbent pads, and police situation releasing, 

the drill was successfully completed and the expected results were achieved.
