Recently, in Yuhu Lake, Tangshan Bridge, Qishui River, Zhuantang Town, a large excavator 

is carrying out dredging work in an orderly manner. The claw bucket of the excavator digs 

silt, mud, gravel, reeds, and other debris into the channel on both sides.

The villagers watching from the side said that through dredging work, the river channel 

was unblocked, the river bank was tidy, the river water became clear, the water storage 

and flood prevention capacity was improved, and the crop irrigation water was more secure.

The person in charge of the Zhenhe Township Office stated that since the implementation 

of the river system in Zhuantang Town, it has been widely praised by the masses, the river 

ecology in the town has been protected, and the water quality has improved significantly. 

At the same time, the dredging work has always been the work directions that the town 

party committee and government have attached great importance. This section of the 

river has accumulated a lot of sand, gravel, and litter, which affects the normal functioning

of river flood control and drainage, so it need the people and mechanical equipment

(silt curtains and excavator) dredged the site.
