20th,October. A combat-ready emergency response disposal exercise for Ship’s Oil Spill

held in Fuling section of Yangtze River Huang Jue mouth waters. The district government

deputy mayor Wang Xinhong to watch the walkthrough on the scene.

On 15:00pm, exercise begun. Fuling marine department duty room received "a tanker

No.1"’s emergency call. In the process of unloading diesel oil in depot Wharf of Fuling

Huang Jue mouth, the diesel oil spilled from a ruptured pipeline on the ship and asks for

support. After received the emergency call, Fuling marine department reports to the

Chongqing maritime bureau and the Fuling district government quickly,and start the

Yangtze River trunk ship oil spill accident emergency plan. After then,Fuling Marine

Department to set up the headquarters of oil spill, Dispatched law enforcement officers

rushed to the scene of the accident to verify the accident, to carry out emergency

monitoring work and to implement the ban on the accident waters; Meanwhile,mobilization

of anti pollution equipment shipped to the scene of the accident, placed the Oil

Containment Boom, Oil Absorbent Pad, Oil Absorbent Pom Pom to dispose the oil spill

cleaning. On 16:00pm, oil spill cleaning in accident waters area was completed,

environmental water quality monitoring standards, the end of the exercise.
