Recently, the Weifang City Transportation Bureau port firefighting comprehensive emergency drill was held 

in the reservoir area of Weifang Sendamei Liquefied Products Terminal Co., Ltd. Through this drill, the 

emergency response capability of liquid hazardous chemicals leakage during operation was improved, and 

the emergency disposal team for hazardous chemical spills was exercised to effectively protect personnel 

and property safety, protect the port water city environment, and minimize the leakage of sudden 

hazardous chemicals.

According to the reporter's understanding, this drill was mainly based on the scene of the leakage of the 

oil pipeline in the storage tank area, there were drilled 4 subjects, such as the emergency treatment of 

the pipeline leakage around the tank area, the emergency rescue of the injured personnel, the fire 

protection of the tank fire, and the emergency treatment of the marine oil spill recovery by using oil booms 

and oil absorbent pads. The fire drill dispatched 7 units, 3 marine cleaning ships, 9 fire engines, fire fighters 

and more than 40 drillers. This drill was achieved the expected drill results, improved the actual combat 

capability of multi-unit emergency linkage, and accumulated the benefits of collaborative rescue. Through 

this drill,the emergency response capability of liquid hazardous chemicals leakage during the port was improved, 

and hazardous chemicals disposal teams were exercised. The leakage emergency response team can effectively

protect the safety of personnel and property, protect the water city environment of the port, and minimize 

the harm of sudden dangerous chemical spills.
