Recently, Panjin City maritime search and rescue comprehensive drill was held in Panjin Port District of
Yingkou, it was hosted by Panjin City Search and Rescue Center of Liaoning Province, undertaken
by Panjin Maritime Bureau and China National Petroleum Emergency Response Center.
The drill was used 7 vessels and participated in more than 120 people, covering a number of subjects
such as ship firefighting, personnel search and rescue, and marine anti-pollution by using oil booms and
oil absorbent pads. It is a comprehensive test of the effectiveness of the maritime search and rescue
emergency plan and the coordination ability of the search and rescue member units.
