At 23:00pm of 23rd April, a fishing boat[Hongfa No.12] has run aground a Mid Reef which 300feet far away from Nanren fishing port as the badly marine weather. The patrols found it and immediately two persons, and set up the Oil Absorbent Pad and Oil Absorbent Boom to handling the spilled fuel oil, fortunately the oil pollution didn’t diffusion.
The patrols informed, the approx. area of fuel oil polluted is 60x15square centimetre, fortunately the waves lapping the shore so that the oil fouling didn’t concentrated on shore and didn’t diffusion, after the handling of Oil Absorbent Pad and Oil Absorbent Boom, there were no pollution phenomenon.
