2019 Jilin Songhua Lake Fishery Water Safety Emergency drill was held in the designated waters. 

This drill was simulated a fishing boat suddenly caught fire in the Songhua Lake. The crew 

immediately called for help and reported the accident to the fishery water search and rescue 

center. In a short while, the alarm was sounded on the lake and the two rescue boats came

in different directions. The fishery officials used fire extinguishers to extinguish fires on the 

fire-fighting vessels, then deployed oil booms and oil absorbent pads to control and recycle 

the ships, and maintained order at the same time. After the fire was controlled, the fishing 

boats were removed from the accident waters, and then the ship pollution was also controlled.

The drill was achieved success.
