Recently, Songhua Lake Management Committee organized fishery, maritime, environmental protection, 

provincial waterway bureau, blue sky rescue team, Beihua University Affiliated Hospital to conduct fishery 

water safety emergency rescue drill according to the unified arrangements of the Municipal Security 

Committee and the relevant requirements of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission.

In this exercise, a total of 12 law enforcement boats and 6 motorized fishing boats were dispatched and

more than 80 participants joined in this drill. It has drilled three classes such as fire-fighting and rescue of 

fishing boats,fishing vessel pollution accidents disposal and drowning people rescue, and shipwreck rescue 

of fishing vessels. Then it was added the search and rescue of frog people in the underwater missing 

persons, simulation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, fuel pollution disposal by deploying oil booms laying 

oil absorbent pads, and fishing of wrecked fishing boats. The simulation drill was highly close to actual 

combat, and comprehensively tested the emergency response capabilities and cooperation level of the 

Songhua Lake water rescue team, effectively improved the emergency accidents disposal abilities of 

the fishing vessels.
