On the same day, Hebei Province Maritime Ship Pollution Accident Emergency 

Command, Hebei Maritime Bureau, Qinhuangdao Marine Oil Spill Response Center 

and other units jointly held a “Hebei Sea Area oil spill emergency drill” in the 

Jingtang Port area, it was purposed to test the emergency response capabilities 

of member units and improve the actual level of emergency response at sea. It 

was used oil booms for oil spill control and oil absorbent pads for clean-up.
