In order to timely and effectively dispose oil spills incidents in the apron, strengthen the fine management
of safety production, ensure the smooth operation of the apron, and in accordance with the requirements
of safety and security, combined with the actual operation of the airport, Weihai International Airport revised
the apron oil spill Emergency Disposal Plan at Weihai International Airport., and organized emergency response
drills. The plan further clarified the organization leadership, information notification, mobilization and rescue
force, transportation emergency materials, on-site disposal and work responsibilities and disposal measures
of the departments in the event of oil spills in the apron; it was also ensured smooth and organized information
on the disposal process. The measures are in a orderly manner and effective.
Recently, Weihai International Airport and China Aviation Oil Weihai Supply Station jointly organized an apron
oil spill emergency disposal drill. In order to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the exercise, Weihai
International Airport and China Aviation Oil Weihai Supply Station made careful preparations for this emergency
drill, and set up a special drill group to formulate a drill plan in advance. More than 60 representatives from
various relevant security departments of the airport, China Aviation Oil Weihai Supply Station, Airport Public
Security Bureau, Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Korean Air, Asiana Airlines and Jeju Air participated in the

The drill was started at 13:30 in the afternoon. During the boarding progress of Blue Sky Aviation Flight 456,
the crew found that the aircraft wing fuel tank leaked a lot of oil. After the aircraft crew found the aircraft
oil spill situation, they quickly reported to the airport operation command center. The operation command

After the end of the field operations, the fire protection was thoroughly flushed according to the apron
oil spill disposal procedures. The emergency drill was closely related to the actual situation and started from
actual combat. Through this drill, we tested the coordination capabilities, information transmission capabilities,
organizational command capabilities, rapid response and effective disposal capabilities of the airport and CAO
and other related units in the event of an oil spill on the apron. It has accumulated rich practical experience
in the rapid response and proper disposal of similar emergencies.
