On March 11, Dagang Oilfield Bohai 1-1 artificial island launched this year's first 

oil spill emergency drill;this is an important measure for the safety and environmental 

protection of maritime safety. It was used oil absorbent pads and oil booms for

controlling and cleaning the spilled oil.

Bohai 1-1 artificial island is the first “sea oil land mining” development base of the 

group company. It is not only one of the main battlefields for the increase and 

storage of Dagang oilfield, but also the experimental field for oil and gas development 

in the Bohai Sea area of China’s oil. Over the years, Dagang Oilfield has strengthened

the construction of safety system, refined on-site management, paid attention to training 

drills, and led cadres to practice the work concept of “oilfield construction and environmental 

protection first”, and embarked on a new road different from land safety production, ensuring 

the whole island. It ensures the safe production of the whole island and realizes the harmonious 

development of offshore oil development and marine environmental protection.
