At 16:00, the “Tiantong 1” tanker was berthed at the dock of Donggang
Petrochemical Terminal; At about 19:20 pm, it began to carry out the loading
of industrial cracking C9 from the oil pipeline of Donggang Petrochemical
Terminal; in the early morning of next day at 0:51, the pipeline was jumped.
At 1:13, , the operators of Donggang Petrochemical Terminal found that
industrial cracking C9chemicals leaked during the loading process. The on-site
staff immediately took measures to stop the pump and shut off the valve,
and entrusted qualified units to quickly go to the terminal for oil recovery.
At 1:23 in the morning, the oil stopped leaking; at 2 o'clock in the morning,
the disposal unit rushed to the dock to recover the oil, it was deployed
oil booms and oil absorbent pads; at 4:30 in the morning, the cleaning
operations in the oil booms were basically finished. However, part of the
slop oil moved to the adjacent Xiaocuo Sea, and the air in some parts of
Quangang had a pungent smell. After the incident, the local government
immediately deployed, and the marine department took the lead in
organizing the disposal of oil spills at the sea and the treatment of polluted
aquaculture to ensure the safety of marine food; the environmental
protection department strengthened the monitoring of atmospheric
environmental quality.
