The Jiangsu Water Search and Rescue Comprehensive Drill and the Provincial 

Water Search and Rescue Work Conference were held in Nanjing. This drill 

was simulated a ship collision that caused a small amount of hazardous 

chemicals to leak into the river, then it occurred burning, people falling, and

water pollution accidents. During the exercise, the participating departments 

quickly responded and scientifically disposed. The helicopters, drones, 

life-saving robots, clean-up vessels, monitoring vessels and other equipment 

boats coordinated and fully responded, and satisfactorily completed personnel 

assistance and environmental monitoring subjects. They used chemical absorbent pads 

and oil booms for controlling and absorbing hazardous chemicals, and the 

extinguisher was also be used to put up a fire.
