Recently, The Tianjin Branch organized a sudden water pollution incident emergency drill.
The joint management team of the Tianjin Branch of the Tianjin Branch conducted the
drills in the area under its jurisdiction. The drill was lasted about three hours. With the
joint efforts of the participating units and personnel, the drill was successfully completed
and the expected results were achieved.
This drill was simulated the malicious dumping of waste oil into the Zaoyuan Bridge,
endangering the safety of water delivery. The duty officer of the Xiheishan
Management Office found the suspect through the security system and reported it,
and the security team immediately went to the scene to view and control the scene.
According to the emergency plan for water pollution incidents, the Tianjin Branch
arranged the water quality testing team to set up a monitoring section and sample
at the scene. After the personnel of the Xiheishan Management Office arrived at
the scene, they handled the scene of the accident, assisted in confirming the
type of pollutants, and carried out preliminary disposal. For the pollutants that
have been introduced into the canal, the Xiheishan Management Office used
the pontoon to lay out the oil booms and the oil absorbent booms, and used
the rotary oil skimmer to collect oil in front of the booms, and simultaneously
activated the oil intercepting facilities to prevent pollutants from being in the
main canal; Xushui Management Office used the integrated working platform
in Wencun North Regulation Pool to decentralize activated carbon and
oil absorbent pads to absorb possible pollutants; Rongxiong Management
Office used the integrated working platform in the Shahedong No. 3 to
decentralize activated carbon and oil absorbent to adsorb possible pollutants;
Bazhou management is located in the east of the Bazhou No. 3 channel.
The activated carbon is used to ensure the water quality and safety of
the water supply, and ensured the safety of the water supply. The
emergency team of the Tianjin Management Office released the activated
carbon through the net bag at the exit of the outer ring river in Tianjin to
ensure the water quality. The water quality monitoring team coordinated
with the management office to increase the analysis frequency of the
Xiheishan and Tianjin Waihuan River automatic stations, and sampled and
analyzed the multi-section of the main line. The portable infrared fuel
meter and portable biological toxicity meter were used on the 6th to
test water quality.
This drill was the second joint training of water pollution emergency
drill at multiple locations in the multi-site of the Tianjin Branch. This drill
was based on actual practice and focused on "practicing" and tested
the operability and linkage mechanism of the Tianjin Branch Water
Pollution Emergency Plan through actual combat, which effectively
enhanced the emergency response capability and disposal capacity
of the Tianjin Branch for sudden water pollution incidents and
achieved expectations.
