In order to further improve the anti-pollution capability of ships

in the jurisdiction, recently, the Danhaikou City Local Maritime 

Bureau organized two water transport enterprises to carry out 

ship anti-pollution emergency drill, and more than 20 people 

participated in the exercise.

The drill was simulated when a ship berthed at the dock, it 

was happened oil spill accident, and they urgently launched

the "Emergency Plan for Ship Pollution Prevention", and 

reported the accident to the shipping company and the 

Danjiangkou City local maritime bureau. The maritime bureau

immediately launched the emergency plan after received

the report, and carried out temporary traffic control on the 

accident terminal, and immediately ordered the maritime 

personnel to carry the anti-pollution emergency disposal 

equipment to the accident site, and organized the staff 

to deploy the oil booms and lay the oil-absorbent pads 

for controlling and removing oil pollution so that it can 

prevent oil from spreading with water.

In the next step, the Danjiangkou City local maritime 

bureau will continue to adhere to the principle of 

“prevention first, safety first”, focus on protecting the 

port water environment, strengthening ship anti-pollution

emergency drills, improving the ship's anti-pollution 

emergency actual combat level, and earnestly 

safeguarding the water safety situation in the jurisdiction.
