In order to improve the maritime emergency response capability of enterprises 

in the jurisdiction, on October 26, Ningde Maritime Bureau organized Ninglian 

Company to carry out a ship emergency oil spill pollution drill. Deputy Director 

Su Han watched the exercises and commented.

The drill was simulated the container ship "Hongda Xin 6" ship docked at the 

berths No. 8 and 9 of Fujian Ninglian Port Co., Ltd. for container loading and 

unloading, which was found and leaked during the operations. After received

the report, Ninglian Company Emergency Command immediately reported to

the Command Center of Ningde Bureau, the Maritime Department of Sanduao 

and the port branch to request assistance, and launched an emergency plan to 

deploy the oil booms on the periphery. Subsequently, the clean-up action team

transported the oil skimmer to the dock and deployed the oil skimmer to clean

up the oil spill on the surface. The law enforcement officers of the Sanduao 

Maritime Division took the sea cruiser to conduct warning monitoring on the

dangerous sea.

In the review, Deputy Director Su Han believes that the scene of the exercise 

is realistic, the participants are meticulously organized and prepared, and the

response is timely and prompt. The emergency response is more scientific and

reasonable, it is effectively tested the tacit understanding of the ship-shore 

cooperation and the coordination ability. The oil spill response team has an

important role in improving the oil spill response capability and strengthening 

coordination and cooperation among ships and shores and emergency response

teams. In view of the fact that some participants in the exercise were not skilled 

enough in emergency disposal measures and the operation of some oil spill emergency

facilities was not smooth, Deputy Director Su Han requested that they should

strengthen the drills and scientifically raise the oil spill emergency equipment to

effectively improve the professional team of the emergency team, continuous 

improve emergency plans and emergency response capabilities.
