Recently, the Jiangdu District local maritime department carried out

ship emergency response comprehensive drills in the upper reaches 

of Shaobo Ship Lock. More than 10 boats have completed drills in 

the scenes of police alarming, accident investigation, traffic control, 

life assistance, ship fire protection and anti-pollution treatment by 

using oil booms and oil absorbent pads, it was effectively improving 

the emergency response capability of the maritime team.
