On the morning of September 1, “Hangjun 16” ship was turned to the
lower reaches of the Yangtze River of Jiujiang Waterway for maintenance
dredging. It was also used silt curtains. Since the beginning of flood season
this year, the upstream water and sediment concentration have been increasing,
and the Jiujiang waterway has a shallow siltation trend. According to the July
survey, there are many shallow spots in the waterway. To this end, Jiujiang
Office planned and arranged in advance, and carried out maintenance dredging
of the navigation channel before the arrival of the dry season, which laying a
good foundation for the maintenance of the navigation channel during the
dry season.
It is reported that the dredging construction is carried out in a non-navigation
way. The specific construction scope is: Jiujiang Waterway Bianyutan Beach
Head Jiujiang , Baidengchuan to Jiujiang, Baifu waterway Waters, the length
of the Yangtze River channel is 809.3 km to 812.6 km. The construction
vessels are “Xiyang 15” wheel and a “Hangjun 16” wheel, which is constructed
