At about 8:30 am on June 12, 2018, when the Yuhuo 0033 ship was loaded with rebar at Jiatong Logistics Terminal,

the ship was spilled with improper operation. Jiatong Logistics Terminal immediately launched the ship oil spill 

emergency plan and carried out preliminary disposal work. The Xianning Port maritime, together with the public

security and environmental protection departments rushed to the scene and successfully disposed of a ship oil spill 

accident. This is an simulation ship oil spill emergency drill.

After simulated the police, Jiayu County Port Navigation Bureau immediately launched the port water pollution 

accident emergency plan, dispatched sea patrol to the scene to help lay out the oil booms, Wuhan Xianning

Marine Department launched the ship oil spill emergency plan, dispatched "sea Patrol 12315" ship to rush to the

scene of the accident to implement traffic control.

Jiatong Logistics Terminal quickly carried out the work according to the drill plan, and completed the laying of

the 300-meter U-shaped emergency oil booms from the downstream in the water surface. The dock boat quickly 

moved inside the oil booms, using oil-absorbent sheets and bucket for recovery and clean the spill oil, the 

entire drill was in order.

Through this ship oil spill drill, it was further strengthened the cooperation mechanism of various departments,

improved the internal coordination ability of port terminals' emergency accidents and the emergency response 

and environmental awareness of employees, and it was realized emergency resources sharing in the port area.
