In order to effectively check the maritime emergency plan of the terminal unit ship

and its related operational activities, and urge the strengthening of personnel 

training and the maintenance of anti-pollution equipment and facilities, and 

improve the emergency response capacity of ship pollution accidents in the 

jurisdiction, and combine with the deployment of safe production month activities,

recently Dongying Maritime Bureau was organized ship oil spill emergency drill.

The drill was adopted a script-free mode to simulate the leakage of cargo oil during

the operation of the tanker, it was included accident reporting, oil containment 

by deploying oil booms, cleaning by using oil absorbent pads and evaluation, 

and the main emergency personnel, ships and other equipment implementations 

of each unit are exercised or put into use. The drill was achieved good results and 

created a positive atmosphere.

In the next step, Dongying Maritime Bureau will strengthen the supervision and

guidance of the construction of emergency response capacity of ships and related

operational activities of port and shipping enterprises, ensure the continuous stability 

of the security situation in the jurisdiction, and improve the emergency response 

capability of ship pollution accidents in the jurisdiction.
