Recently, the Longkou City Maritime Search and Rescue Center held large-scale

maritime search and rescue and oil spill emergency drills in relevant waters in

order to improve the maritime search and rescue capability and oil spill prevention

level. The drill was simulated when a ship was sailing in the sea, it was collided with

a fishing boat, which causing three fishermen to fall into the water and the engine

room fuel was leaked. The Longkou City Maritime Search and Rescue Center

immediately organized rescue boats, cleaning ships and nearby ships to rush to

the scene for rescuing and cleaning up oil spills at sea. It was deployed oil booms 

and spraying oil absorbent pads for controlling and recovering spilled oil.
