In the early stage, the Shekou Maritime Bureau was coordinated and communicated 

with the Shekou Cruise Center, clarified the setting of exercises and ensured the

pertinence of the exercises; they repeatedly discussed the exercise plan, clearly 

precautions, and urged the participants to implement safety guarantee measures 

to ensure the safety of the exercises. During the drill, a sea cruiser and three law 

enforcement officers were dispatched to perform on-site command and traffic 

organization. The maritime emergency drill was begun at 14:00 and ended at 16:00. 

It lasted for two hours. The participating units and personnel worked closely

with each other according to the relevant disposal plan such as accident report, 

oil spill disposal by deploying oil booms and spraying oil absorbent pads, they

successfully completed the subjects and achieved the intended purpose of the drill.
