Recently, Xifeng County Luwo River Dredging Project was Passed County Level Acceptance. 

The project was started in September last year. It was fully completed in March this year with 

a total approved investment of 4.53 million Yuan, and it was actually completed an investment 

of 3.73 million Yuan. It was utilized silt curtains and dredger for controlling and cleaning silt. The

 construction was completed 2,984 meters of the on both sides of embankment, and the slope

 protection of the river bank was 1030 meters. It was dredged 1,770 meters in the rivers. A new

 dam and a water level observation station were built, and the hardened highway was constructed 

with 159 meters. After the rivers were harnessed, the floodresistance capacity was increased to once

 in ten years, which was ensured that more than 800 mu of farmland on both sides of the river bank 

were not flooded by rivers, and the safety of nearly 4,000 people was guaranteed. At the same time, 

it also has positive significance for beautifying the environment and protecting the ecological aspects.
